CONDITIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANODIC ZONES IN CATHODICALLY POLARIZED POROUS FLOW-THROUGH ELECTRODES

摘要
It was shown that in the model of porous flow-through electrodes (PFE) having constant resistivities of the solution and electrode material throughout, anodic zones cannot develop within a cathodically polarized PFE. Truly anodic zones only develop when the resistivities of the liquid and solid phase depend in a particular way on the depth inside the electrode.
