摘要
An instability of the sheet relativistic electron beam (REB) in the planar waveguide, partially filled with a dielectric, is investigated. The dispersion equation is derived and analyzed for a monoenergetic magnetized beam. It is shown that under certain conditions a high-order mode may become dominant in the instability spectrum.
