摘要：
The condition of weak ellipticity is proved for problems of the theory of thin shells. On the basis of that condition, Brezzi's technique is used to analyse two schemes of the mixed finite element method, the analogues of which in plate bending problems are the Hermann and Johnson and Hermann and Miyoshi schemes.
