Rigorous Cataloguing

Access to documents and the optimal use of collections is ensured through rigorous cataloguing. The following three operations are carried out in compliance with international standards; bibliographic description, indexation and classification. The Direction du traitement documentaire also produces the Bibliographie du Quebec, controls main entries and other authorities and oversees the cataloguing in publication programme.
