TRANSFERENCE, COUNTER-TRANSFERENCE AND THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTIONS IN A PATIENT-GROUP WITH SEVERELY DEPRESSIVE SYMPTOMS

The paper concerns the technical possibilities for changing defense-mechanisms of patients with severely depressive symptoms by group-therapy. Therapeutical interventions base upon transference, counter-transference and resistance within the therapeutical process. Identification, counter-identification, solidarity and idealisation are discussed. Projective identification is viewed as a type of defense and relationship and as the adequate level for therapeutical interventions by the modus of "modificating reflection". This intervention is introduced and discussed. The archaic structure of the super-ego and his modification by the development of a super-ego of the group are described also.
