摘要
In the present investigation deals with representation of the body sponsored by the Presbyterian community in Mexico in the early twentieth century as part of a speech that sought to influence three dimensions: education, ethics and healthy. It starts from the idea that such representation was one of the cornerstones of this project sought to create evangelical new men, whose life was dedicated to Christ and the creation of a healthy nation. In these terms, the body is revealed as an instrument given by Christ and care for the man because without him and care nothing could be achieved. The importance of this research lies in the possibility offered to reread the evangelical project in light of cultural representations that were the mainstay of various practices locatable in the context of health, education and ethics.
