摘要
This paper seeks to trace back all the international ideas and concepts which played an impact on the way the Argentine government addressed work accidents by the early XX century. The debate on Act Number 9688 of Work Accidents and Professional Diseases passed in 1915 was influenced by the European ideas of that time, especially those from France. However, the drive of the International Labour Organization (1919) gave rise to the spread of knowledge and experience from other continents as well. Therefore, it can be argued that the social policies implemented in Argentina stem from the influence of both European and Latin American sources.
