摘要
A simple technique based on the least-squares method for interpolating a magnetic field in three-dimensions is discussed. The technique has been used successfully in a Monte Carlo model for a neutron-proton elastic scattering experiment performed at the Los Alamos meson physics facility. Results from this model are given as an example. Some of the methods should be useful in other applications in which it is necessary to generate a smooth function that is constrained to pass through a set of measured points.
