摘要：

Brazil is an active participant of the multilateral arrangements for the intelectual property protection. However the disrespects to these same rights are notorious in the national territory. Going through the history of the building of the multilateral arrangement for the protection of intelectual property, this article discusses some reasons for this contradiction between the foreign and the domestic politicies of Brazil.
