摘要：
In this paper we consider a generalization of the measures of imbalance given by AHRENs and PINCUS (1981) considering the cases: m-fold hierarchical model and m-way classification model in order to quantify the degree of imbalance in an unbalanced design. These measures of imbalance satisfy the same properties as those for the one-way classification model.
