摘要：

The literature about Latin American Social Work history has important gaps and approaches about the meaning of the professionalism development in 1970 and the reconceptualization period. For this reason, it is indispensable to have a state of the art that identifies the texts in stock, the advances, limits and points to discuss. In this effort were identified 32 publications classified in this way: 12 books, 4 book chapters, 13 articles in magazines and 3 articles in Internet.
