CONTINUING WITH IRDP - EXPERIENCE OF MADHYA-PRADESH

The idea of present exercise is not to search for reasons of IRDP continuance, but to ascertain programme benefits, if any, in respect of seven districts viz. Raigarh, Shivpuri, Shajapur, Chhatarpur, Gwalior, Morena and Guna of Madhya Pradesh. The findings presented here are based on the studies conducted by National Centre for Human Settlements and Environment, Bhopal, in seven development blocks (each block of sample size 250 of IRDP families assisted during 1989-90 to 1990-91) each selected from the districts mentioned above.
