摘要：
The method of Cauchy in second proof of Jacobi's triple product identity has been used here to discover the bilateral extension of some known unilateral basic hypergeometric series identities. We also have deduced a number of summations and transformations formulae from our new basic bilateral hypergeometric series transformation which are believed to be new.
