摘要
The effect of hybridization on superconductivity in transition metals is studied within a two-band model in the framework of an extended BCS theory. It is described by an one-body Hamiltonian differently from the usual two-particle scheme for the interband interaction. We use the equation of motion method to obtain a self-consistent equation for the critical temperature. The one-body interaction terms causes a renormalization of the density of states and the narrowing of the d-band generates an enhancement of the superconducting transition temperature. Numerical results are presented and compared with previous works.
