The article tries to show an overview of the main problems of reading comprehension that we encounter in schools. Specifically in the center of Secondary Education IES Americo Castro, are quite common these problems, the students do not understand what you read will have a negative impact on the performance of all activities (tests, homework, etc) and all areas or subjects. That is why article summarizes the main actions carried out in the center, especially through reading plan, to try to alleviate these difficulties. Most of these proposals are based on three pillars: a dynamic, fun and motivating methodology for students; collaboration of all teachers / as and all departments and, above all, from the interests and motivations of our students to promote reading habit as a basis for reading literacy.
