摘要
The electrochemical oxidation of sulfamerazine at a pyrolytic graphite electrode was studied in phosphate buffers with a pH ranging from 3.0 to 10.8. The 2e−, 2H+ oxidation of this compound produces an azo product. A possible reaction scheme is proposed on the basis of the results of linear sweep and cyclic voltammetry, coulometry, spectral studies, and product identification.
