摘要：

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: The main objective is to assess the effects of changes to the physical environment or alternative models of residential care on the quality of life of people living in care facilities. The secondary objective is to assess whether the eDects of changes to the physical environment or alternative models of residential care have a different impact on quality of life according to whether the population are living with dementia.
