摘要
This study aimed to identify the way black women perceive themselves in the advertising campaigns and also to comprehend the influence of this perception on their identity construction. In order to achieve the results, 195 semi-structured interviews were performed with students from many graduation courses of CEULP/ULBRA. The dialectical method was applied, by a quantitative qualitative approach. We believe advertising speech configures a new symbolic universe of production and reproduction of the prejudiced representations of black women on media and, by extension, in society.
