摘要
Iterative boson expansion techniques are suggested as a systematic procedure to incorporate correlations into a mean-field description of both the ground state and excited bands of many-boson systems. The method is illustrated by applying it to an exactly solvable system of interacting bosons which exhibits a phase transition from a deformed mean field to a boson superfluid state.
