摘要
The article discusses the process of development of the Soviet concept of the Decembrist uprising. The author traces the dependence of scientific approaches of leading scholars on the dominant ideology of Marxism-Leninism, analyzes the research methods by which leading scientists were trying to adapt specifically historical material to ideological schemes of the Short course, to combine politicized evaluation of Decembrism, given by Lenin, to Stalin's theory of development and change in socioeconomic formations. But even with such determinism of study by the ideological course of the ruling party, in historiography there has been a diversity of opinions, of the Marxists academicians N. M. Druzhinin and M. V. Nechkina. However, the point of view of the latter won because it supplied the needs of the Soviet state. Refs 15.
