摘要：
The paper reviews ownership restructuring and the forces that influence the process of privatization as part of the structural reform taking place both in East-European countries and globally - namely: pragmatism, ideological concerns, commercial interests, and populism. It examines the development of ownership restructuring in hotel industry in Bulgaria from a retrospective point of view and outlines major trends and factors. The paper also attempts to specify the role of this process in the development of the. Bulgarian economy. It tries to present the changes and problems affecting Bulgarian society caused by the process of ownership restructuring.
