摘要
The spatial distribution of rainfall during the months of the year, using a historical database, it becomes important since it enables you to check trends or climatic changes. This study mapped the distribution of rainfall in the Brazilian Pantanal of Mato Grosso. We used data from five rainfall stations distributed in the Brazilian Pantanal, with data for 30 years, from 1977 to 2006. Rainfall maps were drawn with the aid of isohyetal and applied to calculate the rainfall anomaly index (RAI) for the classification of dry or wet periods, according to the average local, organized in time-averaged monthly, annual and seasonal precipitation. The interpolation method was used to Raster Top, which uses multi-grid method to minimize the simple equation in better and better resolutions, respecting restrictions on the physical elements that make up the landscape. The results of the rainfall distribution shows a wide variation in precipitation rates, and the far east and northeast have the highest volume of rainfall and the center of the lowest rainfall biome. With the analysis of the RAI for the period of study, it was found that a larger number of dry years than wet years for the period studied.
