摘要：

Feral cats are not numerous on Amsterdam Island. Despite a low efficiency, trapping was the only realistic means of trapping cats and a total of 41 were caught by this method. Coat colour was variable. The sex ratio was biased towards males at 1 m: 0.64 f. The breeding season was from November to April, during the Southern Summer, although litters were recorded throughout the year.
