摘要
The concentration of polychlorinated phenolic compounds in combined bleach plant effluent decreases with increasing chlorine dioxide substitution and is decreased to or below the detection limit by biological treatment. The efficiency of AOX removal through biotreatment of combined bleach plant effluent increases with increasing chlorine dioxide substitution. In general, the efficacy of biotreatment increases with increasing level of chlorine dioxide substitution in the first stage of the bleaching sequence.
