摘要
The Guacimal River Basin have an extension of 181 km(2), and is located in the NW of Costa Rica between the coordinates 84,745 degrees W - 10,016 degrees N and 84,909 degrees W - 10,325 degrees N. Geomorphological studies at detailed scales are scarce in the country, so the objective of this work is to present the geomorphological mapping at a scale of 1: 25,000 that explains the processes and forms that characterize the basin. The methodology was based on three phases: pre-mapping, fieldwork, and post-mapping that resulted in a cartographic and analytical product with ten landforms ordered according to their morphogenesis in modeled endogenous and exogenous (fluvial, gravitational and coastal), which will be the baseline for the local land and coastal use planning and the risk assessment.
