摘要
The frequency and temperature dependence of the thermopolarization (TP) response both in low and high frequency regimes are experimentally studied for the first time. These experiments are performed using the paraelectric phase of the ferroelectrics PbNi1/3Nb2/3O3 and PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3 as examples. In the high frequency regime the magnitude of the dynamic TP response is proportional to omega(-1/2) and practically independent on sample thickness and temperature. In the low frequency regime the dynamic TP response is proportional to omega(1/2), inversely proportional to the sample thickness, and its temperature behavior follows that of the bulk susceptibility. These experimental results support previous theoretical inferences.
