摘要
This project highlights the role played by trqffic video detection, using example techniques like templates (or mask images) and edge detection. These techniques are rarely used for detection of moving objects and therefore using them in road traffic. flow detection represents a challenge. We developed a software application which has the advantage that it can determine the degree of occupation of a trqffic link at certain hours. The main advantage of our software application consists of its versatility. The software is capable of making a centralized video detection by removing, in this way, the need of dedicated producer equipment.
