EVERYDAY VIOLENCE: THE BRAZILIAN SOCIETY IN QUESTION AND THE ROLE OF THE SCHOOL FOR SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION

摘要
This article aims to reflect on the current Brazilian society highlighting aspects that surround the school educative practices. You can not contextualize the school environment and their teaching practices without critical knowledge of the society in which they happen. Thus, we bring to reflect relevant aspects of the Brazilian contemporary, in particular the violence in their different social aspects so that we have a real perception of how a social transformation project is needed through education. Based on an educational perspective that promotes the awareness of those involved in the educational practices, we argue and we see a deliverer socio-educational setting where the plurality of social life may favor the emancipation of these actors, pointing to the liberation of each through participation effective in their lives.
