摘要
The phosphate tavorite, LiFe(PO4) (OH, F), has been synthesized under hydrothermal pressure. Its unit cell parameters are very close to those of the natural mineral coming from pegmatites, The structure consists of chains of Fe3+ octahedra separated by phosphate groups. The magnetic properties of both the synthetic and natural minerals are characteristic of a one-dimensional antiferromagnetism with J/k = -12 K and J/k = -8.8 K respectively.
